What is structured data?
A set of tags that you add to your website which help search engines understand the various pieces of information that’s on your page.
Structured data is a standardized format to mark up the information about the web page. It serves to search engines like Google, Bing and others to better understand what the web page is about. Structured data is a way of describing your site to make it easier for search engines to understand. And to describe your site to search engines, you’ll need a vocabulary that presents content in a way that search engines can understand.
